Mark Johnson

Mark Johnson has a strong background in telecommunications and technology. Mark currently serves as the President of Linkup Communications Corporation since January 2017. Before that, they worked for Ka You Systems as the Director of Technology from August 2007 to January 2017. At Ka You Systems, they assisted customers with the design and implementation of satellite systems for IP, Video, and Audio transmissions. Prior to that, they held the same position at Ka You Communications from July 2007 to January 2017. Mark also worked at National Public Radio as a Senior Telecommunications Marketing Representative from August 1990 to November 2004. Mark started their career at Palmer Communications as an Assistant Engineer/Producer from March 1983 to March 1987 and later served as the Director of Engineering at Asterisk Broadcasting in 1988 and 1989.

Prior to that, they completed an Associate's degree in General Studies at Gulf Coast Community College from 1982 to 1983. In 1981, they briefly studied General Studies at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree from there. In terms of certifications, Mark Johnson obtained a Certified Senior Radio Engineer certification from the Society of Broadcast Engineers in May 2016. Mark also received a Technician Class certification from ARRL, The national association for Amateur Radio, in September 2015. Mark Johnson's education history does not indicate any obtained certifications for Certified Broadcast Technologist Radio - SBE or GVF Advanced.
