Eric de La Varende

Eric de La Varende has been working in the technology industry since 2013. Eric started off as a Junior Auditor at PwC Luxembourg, followed by an internship at Natixis as an M&A Intern in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Structured Finance Analyst at BNP Paribas. In 2016, they were a Peru Coverage Analyst at BNP Paribas, where they managed a portfolio of companies and prepared financial analysis and decisions about renewal. In 2017, they were a Student at 42. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Web/Mobile Developer at ClearPeaks, a Frontend Web Developer at LTS Beratung, and a Developer at Matcha and Hypertube, where they realized the front-end using ReactJS and implemented Redux, and created a server side REST API using Node. Since 2020, they have been a Senior Full-Stack Developer at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd and a Senior Frontend Developer at Linkurious.

Eric de La Varende began their educational journey in 2005 when they attended Notre-Dame de Boulogne and earned a Scientific Baccalaureate (equivalent to A levels), with honours. Eric then moved on to Sainte-Marie d'Antony, where they completed Preparatory classes for competitive entrance exams to top French schools. In 2011, Eric graduated from EDHEC Business School with a Three-year programme (Grande Ecole) leading to a Double Degree Master in Management / MSc in Corpora. In 2017, Eric obtained a Master in Informatique from 42. In 2019, Eric obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
