Julia Blum has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Julia began their career as an English teacher at the French Ministry of Education, where they designed and implemented engaging lesson plans for students aged 13-23. After that, they worked as a Parent Communications Coordinator at Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert, where they effectively coordinated communication between departments and managed crisis situations.

Julia then transitioned to the corporate world, starting as a Project Intern at Indigo Memoirs Ltd., where they conducted research and created editorial content for a digital directory. Julia later worked as a Public Relations and Marketing Intern at Myriad Travel Marketing, where they compiled press releases and conducted media coverage reports. At Sony Pictures Entertainment, they served as a Corporate Communications Intern, creating content and managing media coverage after a cyber attack.

Julia then joined Edelman, where they held multiple roles. As an Assistant Account Executive, they coordinated press trips and managed influencer relationships. Julia also conducted competitor audits and digital campaign reporting. Julia then interned as a Digital Intern, creating social media copy and monitoring user engagement for technical clients.

Moving forward, Julia worked at BBDO New York as an Account Manager, coordinating and managing global TV, print, and digital assets for clients. Julia also project-managed client influencer programs and brand partnerships. At Madwell, they were an Account Supervisor and later an Account Director, supporting brands such as Clif Bar & Co., Eggland's Best, JobsOhio, Zarbee's Naturals, and Great Jones Whiskey. Julia gained experience in product innovation, branding, and package design.

Most recently, Julia worked at Mekanism as a Brand Director, leading full-funnel integrated campaigns and results-driven partnerships for brands like Jose Cuervo Tequila and Bushmills Irish Whiskey. Currently, they are employed as a Business Unit Lead at Linqia.

Julia Blum started their education at Palo Alto High School from 2004 to 2008. Julia then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, French, and Anthropology at Bucknell University from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, they briefly studied French Literature and Art History at Université de Tours. Julia continued their education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Global Communications from The University of Southern California from 2013 to 2015. During the same period, they also completed an MSc degree in Global Media and Communications from The London School of Economics and Political Science, specializing in Media and Communications.
