Michael Bunning

Michael Bunning has a diverse background in finance and executive leadership. Michael started their career at Mayfield Fund as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Michael then moved on to become President and Chief Financial Officer at Slatecreek Ventures. After that, they served as Chief Financial Officer at Social Capital LP, where they played a key role in the company's founding and growth. Michael continued to excel in their financial roles, serving as Partner at Aduro Advisors and Chief Financial Officer at JAZZ Venture Partners, Fuel Capital, Generator Ventures, Linse Capital, and Zeev Ventures. Currently, they are the Managing Partner and CEO at XFO Partners, Inc. Their experience spans across various industries, including healthcare, education, financial services, and enterprise software.

Michael Bunning has a Bachelor's degree in Business Accounting from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, which they obtained in 1997. Michael also holds additional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) from the California Board of Accountancy, and as a Real Estate Broker from the California Department of Real Estate. In 2020, they completed the VC University Online program offered by VC University.
