Shawn Caldera

Shawn C. has extensive experience in the esports industry, having held several leadership positions across various organizations. At Linus Media Group, Shawn serves as Business Development Supervisor, previously also fulfilling roles as Business Development Lead and Marketing Lead. Prior experience includes contributing as an Esports Development Consultant for the City of Toronto and serving as Economic Development Manager and Grants Coordinator for the City of Merritt. Shawn's expertise extends to strategy and innovation at TGS Esports and instruction on esports development at VANAS. Previously, Shawn coordinated esports initiatives for the Vancouver Economic Commission and was President and Founder of Volcanic Media Inc., where significant contributions to scholastic esports in Canada were made. Earlier roles also include social media and digital media instruction at Northern Lights College and the College of New Caledonia, respectively. Shawn's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Computer Science from the University of Northern British Columbia.
