Dinusha Wanigasinghe

Dinusha Wanigasinghe has a strong background in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management. Dinusha is currently working as the Vice President EHS at Lion Brewery (Ceylon) PLC, a position they have held since October 2022. Before that, they had been the EHS Manager at the same company from July 2019 to October 2022.

Prior to joining Lion Brewery, Dinusha held various EHS management roles at other companies. Dinusha worked as an EHS Manager at Atlas Axillia from May 2016 to July 2019. Before that, they were the Deputy EHS Manager at CEAT Limited from March 2015 to May 2016.

Earlier in their career, Dinusha gained experience as an Assistant EHS Manager at Access Engineering PLC (Official) from December 2011 to March 2015. Dinusha also worked as a QEHS team leader at ETAL GROUP from March 2010 to December 2011.

Dinusha Wanigasinghe obtained a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka in the years 2003-2006. In addition, Dinusha has pursued various trainings and certifications in fields such as ISO 14001 (Lead Auditor/Auditor training) and OHSAS 18001 (Lead Auditor/Auditor Training) from DNV GL Training. Dinusha also holds an Advanced certificate in Fire Engineering from the Institute of Fire Engineering UK. Furthermore, Dinusha has acquired a diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from NIOSH, as well as certifications in ISO 9001 (Lead Auditor/Auditor Training) from DNV GL Training, ISO 45001 (Lead Auditor/Auditor Training) from SGS Academy Perú, and a diploma in Quality Management from SLSI. Dinusha's education history concludes with a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Moratuwa.
