Dixon Lapniten

Dixon Lapniten is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in various managerial roles within the mining industry. Currently serving as a Senior Mining Engineer at Lion One Metals Limited since August 2018, Dixon is involved in projects located in Fiji. In addition, since February 2016, Dixon has held the position of Mining Projects Manager at Besra Gold Inc. where responsibilities include the re-start of mining operations and ramping up production at the Baidat and Baigo underground sites. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Planning Manager at Besra and Mine Technical Services Manager at Olympus Pacific Minerals, overseeing critical aspects of mine planning and operations in Vietnam. Additionally, Dixon has experience as Division Manager at Philex Mining Corporation and Philex Gold Phil Inc. Educational background includes a degree from Saint Louis University in the Philippines, completed from 1976 to 1980.
