Joe Schlesser

Joe Schlesser has had a long and varied career in underwriting. Joe began in 1995 as an Underwriter at Minnesota Life, then moved to ING in 2000 as a Senior Underwriting Consultant. In 2006, they became Director of Underwriting at LISG, where they worked as an in-house medical underwriter. In 2010, they moved to Crump Insurance as an Underwriting Consultant. In 2012, they were promoted to Manager of Underwriting for the Institutional Markets division of Crump Life Insurance Services, where they supervised a team of 8 employees. In 2017, they were President of SoCal Underwriting Services Inc and Underwriting Consultant at Elevation Underwriting Services. Currently, they are an Underwriting Consultant at Lion Street.

Joe Schlesser graduated from Arcadia High School in 1988 with a High School Diploma in General Studies. Joe then attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 1988 to 1993 and earned a BS in Finance.
