Apoorva Agrawal

Apoorva Agrawal has extensive experience in the media and communications field, currently serving as Language Lead for Netflix at Lionbridge since September 2020, where a focus is placed on precise localization and cultural authenticity of content. Previous roles include freelance writing in Film, TV & Theatre, documentary filmmaking with Framefox Media, and freelance journalism with Deutsche Welle. Apoorva has held positions such as Senior Sub-editor at Business Standard, Correspondent and copy editor at Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group), and Assistant Press Supervisor during the Commonwealth Games 2010 with PIB. A strong educational background includes a PG diploma in Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, a Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication, and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, complemented by a Film Appreciation Course from the Film and Television Institute of India.
