Maja Djuricic

Maja Djuricic has a diverse work experience. Maja started their career in 2009 as a full-time student at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy, where they focused on pedagogy and participated in extracurricular activities. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a project researcher at the University of Vienna, conducting research on school development and focusing on parents with a migrant background. Maja then worked as an education coordinator and English teacher at Templeton Academy International in India, where they used innovative teaching techniques to facilitate productive learning for elementary school students. Maja also taught English at a private linguistic school and worked as an English teacher in a Montessori kindergarten using special Montessori methods. Maja further expanded their teaching experience by working as an English second language teacher at Sino Education, WeChat Global Team, and Chartwell International School. Their most recent position was at Cognita Schools, where they worked as a professional educator responsible for a diverse range of educational tasks and overseeing the learning path of over 100 students. Currently, they are employed as a Sales Business Development Consultant at LionEight.

Maja Djuricic's education history is as follows:

Maja Djuricic obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Cultural Diversity in Education from Far Eastern Federal University in Russia from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pedagogy at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy from 2009 to 2013. Maja also attended Medical High School from 2005 to 2009, focusing on the field of Medicine. Maja started their educational journey at Vuk Karadzic Krusevac, where they completed their Elementary School education from 1999 to 2005. Before that, they attended Stevan Dukic Beograd Elementary School from 1997 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Maja Djuricic also obtained several certifications. Maja completed the iHasco Cyber Security Awareness certification from Cognita Schools in November 2021. In July 2021, Maja became a Seesaw Ambassador through the Seesaw Learning institution. Maja obtained the Fundamentals of Sheltered Instructions: Featuring the SIOP Model certification from the Center for Applied Linguistics in July 2020. In October 2016, they received training in Academic Writing from the University of Reading. Maja also completed the SOFT SKILLS ACADEMY certification from EESTEC LC Belgrade in June 2014. Maja received a Certificate for completing a project from the University of Belgrade in April 2013. Lastly, Maja achieved the ACTIVE CITIZENS certification from the British Council in October 2011.
