Amanda Casarjian

Director of Partnerships at Lionheart Foundation

Amanda Casarjian has been in the field of education since 2006. Amanda began their career at Chicago Public Schools, where they held various roles including Director of Special Projects (Office of Teaching and Learning), Strategic Specialist, Data Strategist (South Side High School Network), Director of Strategic Planning (Office of Academic Enhancement), and Senior Research Analyst (Office of Academic Enhancement). Amanda also served as Voluntary Public School Choice Program Evaluator (Office of Academic Enhancement). In 2018, they moved to Boston Public Schools, where they were Program Director of the Partnership for Social Emotional Learning Initiative. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as an Independent Consultant providing Strategic Planning and Evaluation Consultancy. Currently, they are Director of Partnerships at The Lionheart Foundation.

Amanda Casarjian has a background in psychology. Amanda earned their B.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, their M.A. in Experimental Psychology from DePaul University, and is currently ABD (all but dissertation) in Experimental Psychology from DePaul University.
