Ilka Visscher has a diverse range of work experience. In 2010, they completed an internship at Nedap Retail. In 2012, they worked as a Graduation Student at Deutsche Telekom AG, focusing on analyzing the effect of link congestion and degraded network quality on the Quality of Experience for online gaming applications. From 2014 to 2016, Ilka worked as a System Engineer at SATRAX. In 2016, they moved on to LioniX BV, where they held the position of Design Engineer until early 2017. Currently, Ilka works at LioniX International as a Project Manager and Design Engineer.
Ilka Visscher attended Burg-Gymnasium Bad Bentheim from 2001 to 2008. During this period, they obtained their Allgemeine Hochschulreife, focusing on subjects such as Dutch, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and History. Following their secondary education, they enrolled at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering from 2008 to 2012. Upon completion of their bachelor's degree, Ilka continued their studies at the University of Twente, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from 2012 to 2014.
