Ziad Abdel Ghany is a seasoned cloud engineering professional with significant experience in AWS and Azure environments. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Engineer at Lionsville B.V. since May 2025, Ziad is focused on creating modular AWS landing zones. Prior to this role, Ziad worked as a Lead DevOps Engineer at Rabobank, specializing in Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps, and held the position of Tribe Lead for AWS Cloud at Devoteam from November 2022 to April 2025. Ziad also led platform engineering efforts at the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute, contributing to AWS and agile methodologies, and briefly worked as a DevOps Engineer at Intergamma, concentrating on CI/CD practices. Ziad holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from The American University in Cairo, completed in January 2018.
