Karl McGoldrick has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Karl is currently serving as the CEO of LionVolt B.V. since March 2020. Prior to this role, they owned their own company called Innflect since January 2013, where they provided assistance to founders and investors in startups and spinoffs. Additionally, they served as a board member for multiple companies during that time. Karl also worked as the CEO of Polymer Vision from September 2004 to May 2012, where they played a key role in the company's success. Before that, they were the Managing Director of Mobile Imaging, leading a disruptive technology venture in the field of CMOS camera modules for mobile phones. Karl started their career at NXP Semiconductors in 1996 as a Product and Technology Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Intel Corporation from 1990 to 1996, specializing in technology excellence and high-yield production scale-up. Karl began their career at Philips in 1986, working in quality and reliability, and contributing to the development of cutting-edge semiconductor technology.
Karl McGoldrick obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Microelectronics from Trinity College Dublin, where they attended from 1981 to 1986. In 2002, they pursued further education in the field of Business and completed a program in International Business Management at IMD.
