Eimear O'Carroll has a diverse work experience background. Eimear co-founded Lios in 2009, where they serve as CTO and focuses on commercializing the company's technology. Eimear builds strategic partnerships and oversees product creation and intellectual property. Eimear leads a research and development team in acoustics, chemistry, material science, physics, and mathematical modeling. Eimear also holds a position as Director at Lios, where the company develops materials and technologies to reduce noise pollution and hearing damage.

In 2011, Eimear became the President of the Water of Life Society at Edinburgh University, where they organized whisky tastings and trips for the society.
