Kevin Karanja CPA-K

Kevin Karanja CPA-K has a comprehensive work experience in the field of finance and audit. Kevin currently works as a Financial Services Consultant at Lipa Later Group since April 2023. In their previous role, they served as the Director of Finance and Administration at Horyal Investments Holding Company Limited from September 2022 to January 2023. Here, they were responsible for coordinating the entity's strategies, plans, and budgets, as well as overseeing project implementations and appraisals.

Kevin also worked at Deloitte East Africa, where they held various positions. Kevin served as a Senior Audit Manager from June 2021 to May 2022, overseeing large assignments and managing project budgets and resources. As an Audit Manager from September 2016 to June 2021, they met revenue targets from client portfolios and pursued new business opportunities. From September 2013 to August 2016, they worked as an Audit Senior, planning and executing audit fieldwork, preparing financial statements, and managing risk and compliance. Kevin started their career at Deloitte as an Audit Associate from January 2011 to August 2013, where they reviewed internal control environments, performed financial record analysis, and developed audit insights through data analysis.

Throughout their career, Kevin has gained expertise in project management, business development, financial reporting compliance, risk assessment, and internal control review.

Kevin Karanja CPA-K completed their Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi, from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in Accounting and Finance from Visions Institute of Professional Studies, from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to their educational background, Kevin also holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from ICPAK, obtained in July 2015, and as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from kasneb, obtained in June 2008.
