Elizabeth Malek

Elizabeth Malek is an accomplished professional in the field of plant pathology and crop management, currently serving as Crop Protection Assistant Manager at Lipman Family Farms since June 2013. Prior experience includes working as a Crop Management Specialist at Glades Crop Care from January 2008 to May 2013, where consultation with vegetable growers on pest and disease management was a primary responsibility. Elizabeth also contributed to the Plant Disease Diagnostic Laboratory at Texas A&M University as a Diagnostician from September 2006 to May 2007, diagnosing plant samples and providing management recommendations. Earlier in academia, Elizabeth served as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Plant Pathology at the University of Florida during the 2005-2006 academic year. Elizabeth holds a Doctorate in Plant Pathology from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Botany from Texas A&M University.
