Scott E. Friedman

Scott Friedman has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Scott started their career as a Partner at Lippes Mathias in 1989, where they served as the Past Chairman and Co-Leader of Startups & Venture Capital. Scott later became Chairman/Managing Partner of the company in 1990 and held this position until June 2021.

In 2019, Friedman co-founded Varia Ventures and served as the Managing Director, focusing on consulting.

Scott also worked as a General Partner and Counsel at Impact Capital Partners starting from July 2015.

Additionally, Friedman held board member and general counsel positions at MimiVax, LLC since August 2011, Genomate Health since July 2022, StimMed LLC since January 2014, and Optimed Technology, Inc. starting in January 2023.

Scott is also a member of the Forbes Coaches Council since August 2017.

Scott Friedman earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Trinity College-Hartford between 1976 and 1980. Scott then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law from 1980 to 1983. Afterwards, they furthered their education at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Law from 1983 to 1984.
