Philipp is the founder and principal trader of gruphi Electronics, LLC, which specialized in the distribution of electronic components. Early athletic accomplishments include being a member of the UCLA Men's Tennis Team, where Philipp was part of the 2005 NCAA Championship team and earned multiple All-American honors. Philipp holds a Master of Business Administration from Durham University Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from UCLA.
