Wesley Willard

Wesley Willard has extensive work experience in software engineering, with a focus on Java application development. Wesley worked as a Principal Engineer at Liquibase since May 2020, where they played a key role in developing solutions for a database change management automation tool. Before that, they were a Principal Engineer at Liquibase from April 2013 to May 2020, where they were the first employee in an early-stage start-up and designed and implemented solutions for an Eclipse RCP application.

Prior to Liquibase, Wesley worked at BMC Software as a Lead Product Developer from January 2010 to April 2013. Wesley was part of a team that integrated Phurnace solutions into the BMC Product Suite, resulting in increased sales. Wesley also worked on development projects for key customers.

Before joining BMC Software, Wesley worked at Phurnace Software as a Staff Engineer from October 2007 to January 2010. Wesley played a significant role in this successful startup, which was later acquired by BMC Software.

Wesley'searlier work experience includes roles such as Senior Software Engineer at D² Technologies, Software Engineer at Tanisys Technology, and Software Engineer at Rocket Software.

Wesley began their career as a Systems Analyst at National Oilwell in 1988 and then worked as a Principal Software Developer at Dazel Corporation in 1998.

Wesley has a strong technical background, with experience in various technologies such as Java, Swing, JNI, XML, JMS, Ant, Tomcat, Servlets, JSP, IntelliJ, JUnit, JDBC, HTML, and JavaScript. Wesley was also recognized as the 1995 UNIX Development Employee of the Year during their time at Landmark/Halliburton, where they developed and maintained Oracle-based geological interpretation software for oil/gas companies.

Wesley Willard attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
