Tim Seyde

Tim Seyde is a current Staff ML Scientist at Liquid AI, focusing on post-training and reinforcement learning for large language models. They have previously held research positions at notable institutions such as DeepMind and the University of Tokyo, specializing in locomotion control for humanoid robots and reinforcement learning. Tim earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Robotics Systems & Control from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, and is pursuing a PhD in EECS with a concentration in Robotics and Embodied AI at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Their research experiences also include internships at organizations like PAL Robotics and the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
