Irene Vandertop has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the creative and media industry. Their most recent position was at Cream Productions, where they served as the Director of Business Development and Finance (Digital). Irene was responsible for developing and producing content across TV and digital platforms, with a particular focus on VR/AR technologies. Prior to that, Irene co-founded and produced for Liquid Cinema, a company dedicated to creating immersive interactive content. Irene also co-founded and served as the Vice President of Don't Mess with the Don, an initiative that fought against waste dumping in the Don Valley ravines, Toronto. Additionally, Irene worked as a Digital Producer at DEEP Inc., a creative studio specializing in immersive interactive content. Irene also served as an Interactive Producer at Kensington Communications, where they worked on the Museum Secrets Interactive project. Irene has also made contributions to education as a Professor at George Brown College. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Creative Producer at Xenophile Media, an Art Director/Senior Designer at Radio Television West, and an Art Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Budapest.
Irene Vandertop's education history includes several institutions and areas of study. Irene first attended the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Design and Applied Arts.
