Jason Baskett has over 20 years of experience in the animation industry. Jason started their career at Denny Christenson & Associates in 1994 as a 3D artist. Jason then joined Cyan, Inc. in 1995, where they worked as a World Construction Artist, focusing on 3D modeling, texturing, scene construction, lighting, camera placement, rendering, and post-production compositing. In 1997, Baskett moved to Cyan Worlds, Inc., where they took on roles such as CG Lead/Animator and Animation Lead, specializing in 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation of real-time levels, avatars, characters, and assets. Jason also conducted research and development on animation rigs and systems. In 2003, Baskett transitioned to Liquid Development, where they worked as an Art Manager - Animation and Animation Director. Their responsibilities included overseeing animation, rigging, and art management for various projects, managing a team of animators, critiquing their work, delivering work-in-progress updates and final assets to clients, and ensuring smooth communication throughout production.
