Founder/CEO at Liquid

Saujin Yi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2002, they began their career as an Associate in the Restructuring Group at Chanin Capital Partners. They then went on to work as an MBA Intern at Redpoint Ventures in 2006. The same year, Saujin co-founded Tastination, a venture that they were involved in until 2007. In 2008, Saujin joined GameFly as the SVP of Strategy/Product & GM for the GameFly Digital division, where they were responsible for strategic planning, product management, business intelligence, and P&L management. From 2014 to 2015, Saujin worked as a Free Agent and Advisor, providing interim management and advisory services to early-stage companies across various sectors. In 2015, they became a Founding Partner at 79 Studios, an investment firm focusing on female founders in the technology space. From 2016 to 2019, Saujin served as the Founding CEO of FlexTeam, a consulting company specializing in on-demand research and analysis projects. In 2019, Saujin founded Liquid, a payment solutions company aimed at protecting businesses against defaults and fraud. Their latest role is as a Lecturer at UCLA Anderson School of Management since 2022, and as a Venture Partner at Resolute Ventures starting in 2023.

Saujin Yi completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1997 to 2001. They later pursued an MBA degree at the UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2005 to 2007.
