Tamra Johnson

Tamra Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tamra has served as the COO and Board Member at Liquid, a global payment solutions company. Tamra also holds the position of Board Member at Intelligent Optical Systems, Inc. Additionally, Tamra is the Co-founder and Advisor at FlexTeam, a network of executive-level women working on business projects. Tamra is a Partner and Co-founder at 79 Studios, where they focus on creating opportunities for women and minority entrepreneurs. Tamra has also worked as the CEO and Founder of Dryad Communications, a systems integration company providing internet and data communication services. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Northrop Grumman, including IT Program Integration, Space Segment Systems Engineer, and Systems Engineer, where they worked on propulsion and launch system integration projects.

Tamra Johnson has an extensive education history. Tamra obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Science & Engineering at Stanford University.

Tamra's educational journey began at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aero/Astro.

In addition to their formal education, Tamra has also pursued additional certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. In 2022, they completed the Independent Director Initiative program at VC University. In 2021, they obtained the Women's Corporate Board Readiness Program certification from the Silicon Valley Executive Center.
