Jeremiah Vasquez

Jerry Vasquez is a seasoned Linux and Networking Engineer currently working at Michigan State University FRIB since November 2022, supporting infrastructure for scientific advancements. With a long tenure at Liquid Web beginning in November 2010, Jerry has progressed through multiple roles, including Linux System Engineer, Product Manager, and Head of Network Platform and Operations, demonstrating strong leadership and technical skills. Jerry’s experience encompasses managing significant technical teams, optimizing performance and reliability for an OpenStack-driven platform, and developing operational processes. Prior culinary leadership as Head Chef at International Catering Services and Oldsmobile Stadium showcases a diverse background in team management and logistics. Jerry holds two Associate of Science degrees from Lansing Community College in Computer Programming and Business Administration and Management.
