Joost Weterings has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Joost is currently the Commercial Director at Liquid Wind since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Barber's Cheesemakers as a Project Manager for the Nature Positive strategy starting in October 2021. Joost also served as a Strategic Advisor at ESCM-strategy from September 2021.

From 2019 to 2021, Joost Weterings worked at Velcourt Limited as a Business Development Specialist. Before that, they held the position of Joint Chief Executive Officer at Allied Insurance Brokers from 2014 to 2020.

Joost Weterings has extensive experience in the shipping industry. Joost worked at Swire Shipping as an Owners Representative and Country Manager for Swire CTM Bulk logistics Indonesia operation in 2013. Joost also worked as a Ship Broker at Maersk Broker from 2009 to 2012.

Joost Weterings completed their Bachelor of Arts in History at Royal Holloway, University of London from 2004 to 2007. Joost then pursued an Advanced Diploma in Shipping Business at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers from 2009 to 2011. Following this, they obtained a Level 7 Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General from the Chartered Management Institute in 2020 and 2021. In the same period, Joost Weterings also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Innovation in Sustainable Food & Agriculture at the Royal Agricultural University. In September 2021, they obtained a Graduate in Sustainability Management certification from IEMA.
