Rick Tufty has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Rick currently holds the position of Vice President of Engineering & Chief Technology Officer at LiquidCool Solutions, where they have been since 2010. Prior to that, they worked at Dell Inc., Server Products Group as the Executive Director of Engineering from 2006 to 2010. Before Dell, Rick held various roles at Maxtor from 2000 to 2006, including Sr Director/SMTS/Corp Research Fellow -- Product Dev. Eng. Rick also worked at Western Digital Corp. as a Sr. Principle Engineer from 1995 to 2000, at HP as a Senior Engineer / Manager from 1993 to 1995, and at IBM Corporation as an Advisory Engineer from 1979 to 1993. Overall, Rick has a diverse background in engineering and technology, with a focus on product development and innovation.
Rick Tufty attended Gustavus Adolphus College from 1972 to 1974, where they pursued Pre-Med Undergraduate Studies. Rick then enrolled at North Dakota State University from 1976 to 1979, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
