Sheila Velazquez

Sheila Velazquez, APM, has extensive experience in accounts payable management, currently serving as Corporate Accounts Payable Manager at Liquidity Services since August 2019. Previously, Sheila held the position of Sr Manager, Accounts Payable & Shared Services at RLJ Entertainment, Inc., where achievements included leading a team through the consolidation of operations, implementing automation improvements, and ensuring compliance with IRS and SOX regulations. Sheila's prior experience also includes managerial roles in accounts payable at The Washington Post, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing the full cycle accounts payable process and ensuring accurate vendor payments across multiple locations. Sheila holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Howard University, attained between 1975 and 1982.
