Shanxiang Qi

Shanxiang Qi is a technology leader and co-founder of Liquido, serving as Chief Technology Officer since January 2021. Prior experience includes significant roles at DiDi as Head of Payment for Latin America, where accomplishments included launching Didi Wallet in Mexico and establishing a prepaid card program for drivers in Mexico and Brazil. Previous positions at Uber involved product management for growth in Latin America and Southeast Asia, as well as serving as a senior software engineer focusing on China's expansion. Early career experiences include a software engineering role at Google and research positions during graduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, complemented by a research internship at IBM. Shanxiang Qi holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
