Vicki Krupp

Curriculum Developer at Listenwise

Vicki Krupp is currently a Curriculum Developer at Listenwise. Prior to this, they were the Executive Director at Summer Ink, a 501(c)(3) summer writing camp for students in grades 5-10 from varied socio-economic backgrounds. Vicki was responsible for hiring 30 staff members each season, scheduling activities that inspired vivid writing, and guiding the licensure compliance process. Vicki also recruited students from underserved neighborhoods, resulting in 50% scholarship campers. Vicki built community partnerships that expanded and increased the applicant pool, wrote grant applications that increased funding by 10% over 5 years, and expanded the Board of Directors.

Before their work at Summer Ink, Vicki was a Research Associate at Simmons College from September 2002 to June 2003. Vicki researched and edited resource publications supporting the work of the Beginning Teacher Center. Vicki was also a Research Associate at EDC (Education Development Center) from September 1993 to December 1994.

In addition to their work as an educator, Vicki has also been involved in mentoring programs. Vicki was a Mentor with the Multicultural Mentoring Program and Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for Needham Steps Up.

Vicki Krupp attended Brown University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory. Vicki then went on to Harvard Graduate School of Education and earned a Master of Arts in Education Policy and Management.
