Leo Schowalter

Leo Schowalter is a Research Professor at the University of Central Florida, where he is involved in the AlN semiconductor Center. Additionally, he is the Chief Technology Officer at Lit Thinking, focusing on the development of far UVC and ultrawide bandgap AlGaN. Leo is also a Visiting Professor at Nagoya University, working on ultrawide bandgap devices based on AlGaN. With a background in physics and mathematics, Leo has held various roles such as Chief Technology Officer, co-founder, President and CEO at Crystal IS, as well as positions at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and GE.
