Olakunle Gidado

Olakunle Gidado serves as the Head of Nigeria for Lukoil International Trading and Supply Company at LITASCO SA since May 2016. Prior to this role, Olakunle held various leadership positions at BP from April 2006 to April 2016, including MD & Regional Lead for BP Global West Africa, where responsibilities encompassed the delivery of supply and trading strategies and infrastructure investments. Additional roles at BP included Head of LNG Structured Products & Sub-Saharan Africa and Chief of Staff to the Global Gas COO. Earlier experience includes managerial and analytical positions at Cinergy Marketing and Trading and Texaco, providing extensive expertise in financial evaluation and deal structuring. Olakunle holds multiple degrees, including an MBA, and has advanced education in finance and organizational leadership from prestigious institutions such as the University of Oxford and the University of Houston.
