Mary Beth Canty

Mary Beth Canty is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in both public service and corporate roles. Currently serving as an Associate at Litchfield Cavo LLP since July 2019, Canty has previously held the position of Village Trustee for the Village of Arlington Heights from May 2019 to May 2023 and was appointed Director on the Board of the Regional Transportation Authority of Northeastern Illinois (RTA) from July 2020 to January 2023. With a background in management consulting at Kenway Consulting and strategic initiatives at Zurich Insurance Company, Canty's expertise spans enterprise solutions, change management, and business development. Canty began a legal career as an Associate at Cooksey, Toolen, Gage, Duffy & Woog, focusing on complex litigation and transactional work. Educated at the University of Arizona, where a Juris Doctor was obtained, and William & Mary, where a Bachelor's degree in English was earned, Canty is licensed to practice in Illinois and Nevada.
