Jason Purvee

Jason Purvee has worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Lite Coms LLC since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a System Engineering Co-Op at Golisano Institute for Sustainability from May to August 2021, where they assisted in the creation of a digital twin of an electric vehicle and conducted tests on magnet wire used in electric vehicle motors. Jason also worked as a Mechanical Engineer Co-Op at the same company from January to August 2020, where they analyzed data on twin wire arc technology for restorative manufacturing. In addition, they worked as a Server at Rit Inn & Conference Center from January to December 2019 and as a Shift Manager at Mighty Taco Inc from January 2015 to October 2018, managing a team of six employees and ensuring safety and sanitation in food prep and storage areas.

Jason Purvee received their high school diploma from Bishop Kearney| a Golisano Education Partner, but the year is unknown. Jason then attended Monroe Community College, where they earned an Associate of Science in Engineering Sciences. The duration of their study at Monroe Community College is unclear. Jason is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology, expected to be completed in 2022.
