After having a number of bikes stolen on the streets of London and continuously having to carry around heavy bike locks, Neil Barron came up with the idea of Litelok, a lightweight bike lock that’s also flexible and strong.Neil started Zeal Innovation Ltd at the end of 2013, with marketer Will Riley, whom he met at Southampton University manyyears before, to develop and commercialise Litelok.In March 2015 a successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter raised more than £232,000 for the Litelok concept, helping turn the idea into a reality.
