Darius Milcius

Chief Researcher At Center For Hydrogen Energy Technologies at Lithuanian Energy Institute

Darius Milcius is a highly experienced professional in the field of energy and materials engineering, currently serving as the Director of the Research and Innovations Department at Vytautas Magnus University since January 2017. Milcius also holds the position of Shareholder at Inovatas LLC, a spin-off from LEI CHET, since 2012. In December 2024, Milcius was appointed as Chief Researcher at the Center for Hydrogen Energy Technologies at the Lithuanian Energy Institute, overseeing laboratory project activities and engaging with scientific, policy, and industry stakeholders. Previously, Milcius managed the Hydrogen Energy Association in Lithuania from 2006 to 2016 and held various roles at the Lithuanian Energy Institute from 2000 to 2008. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in International Business Law from Vytautas Magnus University, a Doctor diploma in Materials Engineering from Lithuania Energy Institute and Kaunas University of Technology, and additional degrees in Applied Physics and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology.
