Fernando Araujo is a distinguished Senior Lecturer and Vocal Coach in the Opera Department at Universität Mozarteum Salzburg since August 2002. In addition to teaching, Araujo actively performs as an opera singer, serving as a soloist with Philharmonie Salzburg and Salzburger Konzertgesellschaft mbH. Araujo also collaborates as a guest soloist at Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, performing notable roles in productions such as Puccini's 'Gianni Schicchi' and 'La Bohème.' Other engagements include work with the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, where Araujo performs as a soloist and appears as an artistic advisor for the Mozart Dinner Concert. Araujo's experience extends to leading performances in sacred music at Franziskanerkirche and past participation as a vocal accompanist at Salzburger Festspiele. Araujo's educational background includes studies at Universität Mozarteum Salzburg and Indiana University Bloomington.
