Kęstutis Regelskis has substantial experience in the field of fiber lasers, with a focus on research and development. Kęstutis co-founded Litilit in 2015, where they serve as the CSO and contributes to the advancement of the industry through the design and production of high-quality femtosecond lasers. Prior to this, Regelskis headed the Fiber Laser Laboratory at the State Research Institute Center for Physical Sciences and Technology from 2007. During their time there, they conducted investigations into various fundamental phenomena related to fiber lasers and amplifiers, developed innovative techniques for combining fiber laser radiation, and made significant contributions to the field through the production of multiple patents. Before their role at the Fiber Laser Laboratory, Regelskis worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Physical Science and Technology starting in 2006.
Kęstutis Regelskis pursued an internship in high energy fiber lasers from 2006 to 2008 at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.
