Alixandra Lewis Adams has a diverse work experience. Alixandra began their career in 2008 working as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University. Later that same year, they took on a Research Assistant role at the WomanStats Project. In 2012, they became the founder and editor of aruffledlife.com. In 2013, they took on the role of Event Designer at A Ruffled Life, where they planned and coordinated events from concept to execution for companies such as Tiny Prints, Bing and Tai Pan Trading. In 2016, they co-founded LitJoy Crate, a monthly subscription box and bookish merchandise seller.

Alixandra Lewis Adams attended Brigham Young University from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a focus in Psychology and Womens Studies.
