Amikka De Castro

Amikka De Castro has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2017, they worked as a Campus Team Member at Victoria's Secret Pink until 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they held the position of POS/Cashier at Hana Kitchen. In 2019, they took on multiple roles including being a Marketing Intern at Marilyn O'Malley: Coach to Highly Sensitives and Creatives, a Professional Development Co-Chair at Pilipino Graduation, and a Community Engagement and Advocacy Program member at MultiCultural Center. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, where they contributed to a national project on mass shootings. In 2020, they worked as a Marketing Assistant at The Fletcher Collective and as a Marketing Intern at Snack Break. In 2021, they became a Marketing Administrative Assistant at Chrystal L. Hair & Makeup before transitioning to LitJoy Crate, where they first served as a Social Media Manager and later as an Operations Manager. Amikka De Castro obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Feminist Studies from UC Santa Barbara, completing their education from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned their High School Diploma from Holy Family High School College Preparatory between 2012 and 2016. In addition to their formal education, Amikka De Castro also holds additional certifications, including a Food Handler Card obtained from Premier Food Safety in April 2018, and a Social Media Marketing Certification from Hubspot Academy obtained in October 2020.
