Tao Hong

Tao Hong is an experienced leader in data science and intelligent payments, currently holding the position of Leader at Worldpay since January 2018. With a focus on enhancing global omni-commerce through integrated technology solutions, Tao also serves as the Leader of Data Science and Data Products at Vantiv, which specializes in streamlining payments for partners and consumers. In addition, Tao has been a Principal Data Scientist at Litle & Co., a Vantiv company, since January 2013, focusing on intelligent payment processing for card-not-present commerce. Prior roles include Senior Analytics Engineer at ReD, where expertise in fraud prevention was developed, and Lead Modeler at ACI Worldwide, supporting electronic payment solutions. Tao holds a Ph.D. from Newcastle University in Neural Networks and additional degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
