Ranil Seneviratne

Ranil Seneviratne has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Ranil began their career in 1985 as an Administrator at IBM Corporation. From 1989 to 1996, they worked as a Team Leader at Nippon Motorola Ltd., where they were involved in the design and implementation of a global Order Processing system. In 1997, they joined Readywear Industries Ltd. as an MIS Manager, where they set up the organization's IT department and established a network of computers with wide area links. Since 1999, Ranil has been working at Litro Gas Lanka Limited, starting as an IT Manager and later becoming the Head of Information Technology. In these roles, they oversaw the company's transition to a fully-fledged local organization, implemented key solutions, and ensured uninterrupted services and vendor support. Ranil has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a successful track record in aligning IT with business objectives.

Ranil Seneviratne completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Colombo, where they studied from 1981 to 1984. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Ibaraki University in Japan, attending from 1987 to 1989.
