Joe Roosma

Joe Roosma is a highly experienced Sr. R&D Product Development Engineer currently at Littelfuse, where responsibilities include managing the Global Product Engineering department for Discrete MOSFETs & IGBTs and overseeing new product development and datasheet releases. Previously, Joe held a similar role at IXYS Corporation since 2005, focusing on engineering characterization for discrete products and developing thermal circuit models. Additionally, Joe is the owner of JJR Engineering, created custom testing equipment, and served as a Senior Design Engineer Consultant at mPowerSolar. Joe has contributed to industry standards as a JEDEC Committee Member and has internal auditing experience in ISO 9001:2008. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering Management and Leadership from Santa Clara University and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from San José State University.
