Phil Townsend

Phil Townsend is an experienced R&D Engineer currently employed at Littelfuse since November 2018, focusing on the development of high power semiconductor devices and lean six sigma methodologies. Prior to Littelfuse, Phil worked at IXYS UK Westcode from January 2012 to October 2018 as both an R&D Engineer and Company Secretary, where responsibilities included product development and ensuring legal compliance. Phil began a career at Westcode Semiconductors in 1990 and held various roles including HR Manager, Wafer Fab Manager, and Production Engineer, overseeing areas such as employee relations and semiconductor fabrication processes. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc. (Hons.) with a Diploma in Industrial Studies in Engineering Physics from Loughborough University, and prior studies at Howard of Effingham School.
