Mónica Ortega Redondo is an accomplished R&D Engineer with experience at UNITH and Aflorithmic since May 2022, and previously at Vodafone from February 2020 to May 2022, contributing to innovative machine learning projects. Mónica's leadership capabilities were demonstrated as President of the Consejo Estatal de Estudiantes de Telecomunicación and as the president of the organizing committee for the III Jornadas de Fomento de Estudios de Telecomunicación. Recognized for innovation, Mónica was a second finalist in the Vodafone Campus Lab competition with a project focused on sustainable food cultivation. Mónica holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Audio and Image Engineering from Universitat d'Alacant, along with recent education in philosophy and the intersection of AI and ethics from the University of Oxford.
