Simon Ezequiel

Simon Ezequiel is the current CFO at LitterLotto. Prior to their current position, Simon held the role of Interim CFO at a capital placement agent from October 2018 to December 2020. Simon was brought in as a contract role with the original 6-month contract being extended 4 times due to their success in streamlining and speeding up reporting timetables for the company. From May 2017 to November 2018, Simon held a contract role at an energy brokering company where they were responsible for rescuing and restructuring the finance function following the departure of all previous staff. Simon was also responsible for integrating the processes into the head-office finance function. Some key responsibilities during this time included cashflow and capital planning, management of management and regulatory accounting processes, and creation of new models to support broker compensation processes. In addition, Simon created a new treasury process and policy to manage foreign exchange exposure arising from USD receipts with predominantly GBP expenditure. Lastly, they supported colleagues in constantly challenging existing processes and looked for system and process improvements.

Simon Ezequiel attended Mill Hill County High School and then went on to study at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Simon is now a Fellow of the ACCA.
