Mwangi Karen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mwangi started their career as a Laboratory Assistant at New Kenya Co-operative Creameries, where they gained experience in lab tests and quality assurance. Mwangi then moved on to work as an Executive Assistant at WEB Limited Group, where they planned and coordinated meetings and facilitated sustainable construction certification. Mwangi later joined Kenya Green Building Society as a Project Coordinator, managing programs aimed at promoting green building practices. Mwangi then worked as a Sales Consultant at DPO Group, where they were involved in merchant onboarding and product presentations. Currently, they hold the role of Head of Financial Services at Little App, where they drive the financial planning and strategy of the company and manages the development of financial products.
Mwangi Karen pursued their education at various institutions. From 2015 to 2019, they attended Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in medical microbiology. Following this, from 2018 to 2020, they enrolled in the Kenya Institute of Management, focusing on project management and earning a degree in Project Management.
