Charlie Brown has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Charlie was the CEO and founder of Context Partners, a design firm that integrated design thinking with social innovation strategies. Charlie also served as the Partner, where they developed the methodology, grew the client portfolio, and expanded the staff. In Little Bear Labs, Charlie worked as an Advisor and later became the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing operations for a start-up engineering consultancy. At The Franklin Project, they served as a Senior Advisor, and at Ashoka's Changemakers, Charlie held the position of Executive Director, leading online campaigns and competitions to engage a global community of social innovators. Charlie also worked as the Lead Consultant at the National Parks Conservation Association. In their earlier career, Charlie was the Associate Director at Ashoka, managing their global community of social entrepreneurs, and an Account Executive at Exemplum. Additionally, they served as the General Manager at WUVT 90.7 Community Radio.

Charlie Brown attended the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained an MBA. Charlie'sfield of study during this time was International Business and Environmental Planning. Prior to that, they attended Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management.
