Parminder Singh

Parminder Singh has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Parminder started their career in 2004 as a Programmer (Research & Internship) at Brookhaven National Laboratory, where they calculated ionization cross-sections within periodic table elements and developed a C++ program for the same. In 2006, they worked at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as a Programmer & Statistical Analyst (Research & Internship), where they analyzed atmospheric data from the MODIS satellite using C++ programs and R software scripts.

From 2006 to 2007, Parminder worked at Xerox Corporation as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, testing the functionality of copier machines and printer drivers. Parminder interacted with both the software and hardware teams to develop user acceptance tests and ran test cases on various platforms. Parminder then joined CompSys Technologies, Inc. in 2007 as a Programmer Analyst (Consultant), providing consulting services and assisting with the design, analysis, maintenance, documentation, and testing of web applications.

In 2007, Parminder started working at FedEx Trade Networks as a Programmer & Analyst, where they served as the technical contact for Java financial applications. Parminder coordinated application deployments, reviewed application improvements with business analysts and end-users, and generated specifications and user documentation.

From 2012 to 2015, Parminder worked at HP as a Senior Software Engineer / Android Developer. Parminder was involved in the full lifecycle of projects, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment. Parminder worked with frameworks such as Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Bootstrap to create the App Portfolio site. Parminder also integrated multiple systems and provided in-depth analysis to resolve production and application issues.

Following that, Parminder worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as an Android Developer from 2015 to 2017, DXC Technology as an Android Developer in 2017, and Little Caesars Pizza from 2017 to the present. At Little Caesars Pizza, they initially held the role of Senior Android Engineer and later became the Technical Lead Engineer for Android.

Parminder Singh holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from Medaille University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo between 2004 and 2006. Parminder also holds an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science from Monroe Community College, which they earned from 2001 to 2004. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including the Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from Oracle in 2014, the Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance in 2014, and the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from Oracle in 2013.
